Obama…”Fundamental Flaw of Constitution”…wants “Redistribution of Wealth”

Last night there were audio tapes of Obama released from 2001.  This is from Drudge. Both of these were interviews done with Obama on Chicago radio.  What is unbelievable is how much of a socialist he really sounds.  Its not just a word McCain supporters are throwing around.  He actually sounds like a socialist. Take a listen….

Howard Stern Interviews Obama Supporters

So my sister just sent me this and I was floored.

I didnt know Sarah Palin was going to be Obama’s VP!

The Gloves Are Off

I am stuck in the library researching for my Polisci seminar paper and I got on Drudge to find this video.  McCain knows hes on the road to defeat.  The polls are looking bad.   He finally started to address the Obama, Ayers relationship with this ad.  Its about time.  Hopefully, this can give McCain a boost.  We will see.

James Manning = Hilarious

So, I havent blogged in forever I know.  But with 17 hours of class (including two senior seminar classes) along with work and being a Lifegroup Leader plus having Halo nights in my room way too often, I am finding little time to blog.  All I will say now is McCain is in trouble if the economy is the issue because people perceive Obama will do a better job on the economy. Since the economy is the issue on the forefront right now, Obama is taking the lead in the polls.

Anyway, my parents came to visit today and shared this little video with me and I must say, it is quite entertaining.  enjoy.

The “Change” Battle Continues

We are continuing to see both campaigns battling over which one is going to bring real change to Washington.  Over the past two weeks McCain has been winning this battle.  First, his pick of Sarah Palin only solidified his “maverick” reputation.  Second, the convention’s central theme was that McCain/Palin would bring reform and they effectively argued they would do so by reminding those who watched of their records as reformers.  Third, the past two ads from the McCain campaign have centered on this battle.  The first, which I posted a few days ago, labeled Obama as just another liberal.  It claims Obama is not a “change” candidate at all.  And just yesterday, the McCain campaign released this ad:

Here we see, just as we did at the convention, a reminder of the past successes both McCain and Palin have had in bringing reform.  The McCain campaign is arguing their case well.  When there is a record to stand on, it is much easier to make the argument.

Obama, of course, has not been silent. Read More…

McCain Gets His Bounce…But For How Long?

Well its the Monday after the Republican National Convention.  And the polls look very different than they did before the convention:

Rassmussen: McCain +1

USA Today: McCain +10

Gallup: McCain +5

Zogby: McCain +4

This should not be surprising because the Republicans, as always, gave a great convention.  Read More…

McCain’s New Ad – Tilly

Well, Jared and I are moved in….class starts tomorrow.  Hopefully we can get back to blogging on a more regular basis.  In the meantime, check out this new 30 second spot entitled “Temple” from the McCain campaign….

We can now see a new strategy of attack on Obama.  Now McCain is trying to label him as “more of the same” old liberal ideas.  This is brilliant because the ad links Obama to the old liberals in Congress and it basically is turning Obama’s attack on McCain back on Obama.  Obama may present himself as “change” but in reality he is only offering the same ideas Democrats have been pushing for years.  McCain is the true reform candidate.
