Jared

My name is Jared and I hail from Tracy, CA.  I am pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Economics at Union University in Jackson, TN, the school that got hit by the tornado on February 5th, 2008.  I do enjoy the political arena and love for Domestic Politics.  For the last two years I have really come to enjoy political theory as much as studying domestic issues.  Dr. Evans educated me so well on self-interest and how it drives politics, and everyone is interested in money, therefore I have begun a Minor in Economics.

My posts will be on a variety of topics, ranging from the philosophical (love me some Plato!) to the pragmatic, to the amusing, as I am the funny one in this group.  I love baseball and my Chicago Cubs and some basketball and football.  Especially playing basketball and flag football.  Beyond that I am a human being who strives daily to fulfill the commands of Christ and to live my life as He so desires.  But enough about me, allow me to introduce to you my good friend and partner in crime, Tilly.

Hey, I am Nathan, a senior at Union University.  I am double majoring in Political Science and History.  And as you will be able to see by my blog posts, I love American politics and live for campaign season.  Nothing gets me more excited than watching the GOP duke it out with those crazy Democrats and nothing makes me happier than to watch Republicans succeed on election day.  But, I am unabashedly conservative and will call the Republican Party out when it is not.

I love sports and during football season, I bleed black and gold…Here We Go Steelers!  I, also, strangely enough, play the violin and often preform for weddings.  I love all kinds of music, from rock to dance, rap to classical.  But most importantly, I am a Christian and I strive to live as Christ has commanded me.  He is the very reason I am here and I desire a closer walk with Him.
